After years of leading HR and talent teams, I’ve seen firsthand how hiring decisions are made. I’ve watched careers accelerate, and I’ve watched strong candidates get overlooked when they didn’t have access, confidence, or support.
Those experiences shaped the foundation of Hire Proximity.
I founded this company because I believe every student deserves the chance to understand their strengths, tell their story, and build real relationships with employers. Not just the students who grew up with connections. Not just the ones who already know how to navigate the system. All of them.
Throughout my career, I’ve coached many, from students to senior leaders, and the pattern is always the same: when someone gains clarity about who they are and proximity to the people who can open doors, everything changes. Confidence grows. Opportunities appear. Momentum builds.
But too many students never get that chance.
They’re entering a job market with fewer entry‑level roles, more competition, and digital hiring systems that filter them out before a human ever sees their application. They’re told to “network,” but no one shows them how. They’re told to “stand out,” but no one gives them the space to practice.
We bring students into real conversations with real employers. We help them understand their strengths, build confidence, and learn how to communicate their value. We create the proximity that helps them rise above market conditions and get noticed in ways online applications never will.
This work matters to me because I’ve seen what happens when someone finally feels prepared, supported, and connected. I’ve seen the shift in their posture, their voice, their belief in themselves. I’ve seen how one conversation can change the trajectory of a career.
